How have you confirmed it? Is it in a manual or Samsung brochure, or just on some sellers website, or have you compared it directly? The is a lot of contradictory info about this set out there.

KeanosMagicHat, thanks for the info about the woofer. I'll continue to try and find out whixh other models have it. You have to wonder why they add great features but dont document it.

Anonymous, I can't answer the question about the fixings, that's outside the scope of this project and I just dont know the answer. You could ask about it in our forums maybe.

To update, I had a UK A786 delivered today and can confirm that in addition to the two downward firing speakers it has a fairly large oval woofer speaker on the back for added bass tones.

very informative,good work.Can you clear up the wall fixing holes, asa, as there seems to be some dispute over m4 fixings. Some people claim they are having to buy self tapping screws as supplied are too loose

I have tried to find out about woofers on these sets but I cant find any info on them. It has been reported that they are available on the A750 series in the US but i have looked in the manuals for the UK models and they only mention the side speakers. If anyone can confirm that any of the UK models do have woofers please add a comment with the details here.

well done on collating the specs. For info there is one you missed however. The presence or not of a built in woofer speaker.
